I met Donna at an exclusive show presented by the Rocking Horse Gallery in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Each of her bears at the show was truely a work of art. Her sweet, creative personality was apperent in each one.
Donna has been designing and making her bears, since the very early 80's Her bears are beautifully made and have such a whimsical quality. She has won The Toby Award, as well as The Golden Teddy Award. Both prestigious awards in the artist bear world.
One of eight artists to participate in my first second Gallery Shows, her work was a big hit. I am pleased to have a few of her creations in stock.
Donna and her husband, Jim, live in Virginia Beach. She has now retired from bear artistry.
