In the Fall of 1995, after seventeen years in the ceramic industry, Beth Anne changed
directions. In addition to being able to stay home with her two children, she is living a "dream come true",
designing and creating wonderful teddy bears that will become tomorrows heirlooms.
She makes her home in Southwestern Michigan with her husband, Rick. Their children, Sara 16 years old and
Michael 14 years old, round out the family.
Beth Anne's bears are totally hand-crafted, from design through finished teddy. They are well behaved
young ones, who share with each other and make terrific fillers for any holes in your heart! Before they leave
home, they are given one last hug to send them on their way.
I came to know Beth Anne and her bears through a dear friend, Kay Preston, owner of Tea Time Teddies,
who passed away on December 25, 2000. I taught her what I knew about bears, but she found a few
treasures that escaped me......."the Bears of Beth Anne" is one of them. I hope to have their sisters and
brothers in my shoppe for many years to come!
