TED MENTEN
CREATOR OF "TED MENTEN CREATIONS" OF NEW YORK
Ted Menten makes his home in New York City, New York. He has been invloved in design in the art world, in one mediun or another, for many years.
His teddy bears are nationally and internationally known. The creativity of his work is amazing. He began teddy bear artistry in the late 70's, early 80's, when artist teddy bears were in their infancy.
In addition to being a teddy bear artist, Ted has written many books, and published several magazines related to the bear world. He also wrote a series on greiving, which is excellent.
I was honored to have him participate in the first two Gallery Shows that Beary Best Friends hosted.
