Linda is a California girl! She left the medical profession in the late 1980's
to follow her passion~~~bear artistry! Encouraged and guided by her brother, Lloyd, She slowly perfected
her art and began selling her creations throughout the west. She gives her brother the most credit for where
she is today. Linda allowed Lloyd to market her first series of bears in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.
She says, "Lloyd is my best friend, my brother and my biggest critic. His honesty and encouragement have
made it possible for her to achieve her goals.... with no mention of a tremendous amount of hard work and
perseverence on her part!
Linda lives with her husband, Roger. She has two grown children, a daughter and a son, and four
grandchildren. Her grandchildren are the inspiration that spurs her creativity. She is always looking for
books for them, so many of her ideas come from children's stories.
Over the years, she has changed her focus, from miniature bears to larger ones, with kittens, puppies,
bunnies and wonderful mice. Each has such personality and many of them have a friend to keep them
from being lonely.
I met Linda in San Francisco and loved the truely sweet faces of her bears. One cannot wait to see where
this lady"s talent will take her next!
